“Mini” Training Camp
Have you ever wondered what we do here for three hours on Wednesday nights, during the school year? Do you feel called to help with our mid-Week ministry but shy away because you don’t know what it is all about? Do you know that our children and youth ministries are a vital part of growth and stewardship here at church?
Well, the Christian Education Action Team is sending an open invitation to the congregation, as well as asking that all parents and volunteers join us Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:45. This is an opportunity for each of us to gain a better understanding of the 4 components of LOGOS, actively participate in the 4 parts, gain knowledge of the preparation it takes each week, realize that we are all Children of God, and have fun!!
Come join us and learn how you can be a vital partner to continuing to help our children’s programs grow and to nurture our children into discipleship. The theme for the night is “Mexican Fiesta”. Please call the church, at 524-3933, by Monday, August 30 to reserve your seat!! The Youth Group will be assisting this camp by being “table parents” for the children as well as games and activities while the adults are upstairs having their own fun!
Also LOGOS for the kiddos will start Wednesday, September 15th. Times are 4:45-7:30
